I was lucky enough to have my company foot the bill so I could attend CES this year. I was even more lucky to have my long time friend, Linda Bushyager who lives in Las Vegas, arrange an itinerary that made the best use of my time. Linda, and her husband Ron, are long time techno geeks who used to live in Philadelphia. They moved to Las Vegas after Ron retired in the late 90's.
If you've never attended CES it's difficult to describe the scale of the event. 140,000 people cram into 1.8 million square feet for four days. It's like the entire downtown area of an average city, except you have to walk everywhere. At the end of the day everybody goes back to their hotel room and start the process over again at 10 AM the next day.
